Google services outage impacts Bulgaria and Eastern Europe
On September 4th, 2025, Google experienced a major outage affecting users across Bulgaria and more than 30 other countries in Eastern Europe. The disruption began around 7:10 AM local time, lasting for hours, with widespread reports of unavailability across Search, YouTube, Gmail, Maps, and Gemini.
According to Outage.Report and other monitoring platforms, incident reports came from Turkey, Greece, Romania, Serbia, Armenia, Croatia, Germany, the Netherlands, and many more. Despite the scale of the disruption, the official Google Workspace Status Dashboard showed no incidents as of 8:00 AM UTC.
