The Cybersecurity Act (NIS2) Webinar Demonstrated Real Governance Commitment from Municipalities
On February 25, DIAMATIX hosted a webinar
“After the Adoption of the Cybersecurity Act (NIS2): Practical Guidance for Municipalities”
with the support of the National Association of Municipal Secretaries in the Republic of Bulgaria (НАСО РБ).
The event generated significant interest:
• over 190 registrationsand live participants
These figures are more than statistics. They clearly demonstrate that cybersecurity is now perceived as a governance priority within local authorities, rather than a formal regulatory obligation.
Focus on Practical Implementation
During the session, we covered:
• the most significant amendments in the Cybersecurity Act
• what the new requirements mean for municipalities at organizational and technical levels
• first concrete steps toward structured compliance
• potential challenges and implementation risks
• common early-stage gaps and mistakes
The webinar was led by Boyan Raychev, who presented the topic in a structured and practice-oriented format.
