DIAMATIX Community Shield: Logic, Math & Cyber — A Visit with Grade 10B (Mathematics) from St. Stefan Karadzha – Kavarna
In December We welcomed Grade 10B (Mathematics track) from St. Stefan Karadzha Secondary School to our office for a session on problem-solving, the math behind cybersecurity, and a guided look inside Shield and our SOC.
What is DIAMATIX Community Shield
DIAMATIX Community Shield is our give-back program: the team nominates and votes for causes, we contribute time and expertise, and the company matches support to create real, measurable impact. This edition focused on how mathematical thinking powers modern cyber defense.

A session tailored for a mathematics class
We explored how logic and probability inform everyday security decisions and why entropy and passphrases matter. Students saw how patterns, statistics, and signal interpretation help analysts separate noise from risk, and how basic cryptographic concepts (hashing, checksums) support integrity and trust in digital systems.
Inside our operations: Shield & the SOC
After the discussion, students received a guided, privacy-aware walkthrough of our work:
Shield — our platform for detection, analysis, and response;
The SOC — what continuous monitoring looks like in practice;
The screen wall — how we read signals and coordinate response.
The demo was prepared with privacy in mind — no sensitive data on screens; we focused on principles and mindset.
Mutual value
The class brought fresh curiosity and rigorous questions; we shared practical lessons from real operations. That exchange is the spirit of Community Shield — giver and receiver growing together through learning and action.
