DIAMATIX Participated in the XXXVI General Assembly of NASORB in Veliko Tarnovo
On May 14–15, 2026, DIAMATIX participated in the XXXVI General Assembly of the National Association of Municipal Secretaries in the Republic of Bulgaria, held at Grand Hotel Veliko Tarnovo.
The event brought together representatives of municipalities and public institutions from across Bulgaria and focused on topics related to municipal operations, operational resilience, NIS2, the Bulgarian Cybersecurity Act, and the need for practical cybersecurity approaches in the public sector.
DIAMATIX participated with its own booth and the opportunity for direct discussions with municipalities and partners around topics including:
- NIS2 and regulatory readiness
- operational cybersecurity readiness
- protection of critical systems and services
- incident response
- AI security and AI usage
- practical steps toward stronger cyber resilience
Practical Discussions and Real Challenges
Throughout the two-day event, the DIAMATIX team held many practical discussions with municipal representatives, municipal secretaries, and public sector partners.
Some of the main topics included:
- how municipalities can navigate NIS2 requirements
- the first practical steps toward operational readiness
- improving visibility across systems and access points
- responding to incident scenarios
- approaching AI usage and AI security safely
For us, these conversations are especially valuable because they reflect the real operational challenges municipalities face and the need for complex cybersecurity topics to be explained clearly and practically.
The DIAMATIX Perspective
Today, more than 40 municipalities already rely on DIAMATIX for operational cybersecurity support, 24/7 monitoring, and practical guidance for improving cyber resilience.
We believe that in the public sector, cybersecurity should not be treated only as a technical topic or a compliance requirement.
It is directly connected to:
- continuity of public services
- operational readiness

We understand how challenging and complex the current environment is for many municipalities and municipal secretaries who are required to make important decisions in a rapidly changing landscape.
