More Than Football: Shabla Brings Children, Families, and Community Together
DIAMATIX Community Shield and Acronis Cyber Foundation Program Supported “Pass to Friendship, Goals Against Aggression” in Shabla
On June 7, Shabla hosted the “Pass to Friendship, Goals Against Aggression” initiative, organized by FC Karia Shabla, the Local Commission for Combating Juvenile Delinquency at Municipality of Shabla, and Municipality of Shabla. The event brought together children, parents, volunteers, local institutions, and partners around a shared cause.
Throughout the day, the town stadium was filled with energy, smiles, and team spirit. Dozens of children took part in games, competitions, and football activities designed to encourage friendship, respect, and cooperation.
As supporting partners, DIAMATIX Community Shield and the Acronis Cyber Foundation Program contributed football equipment, a dedicated training football field, backpacks, educational materials, and laptop and monitor donations for children from the local community.
Alongside the sports activities, children and parents also participated in interactive cybersecurity games. Through practical examples and engaging challenges, participants learned more about online safety, protecting personal information, and the role of technology in everyday life.
One of the most memorable moments of the day came during the laptop donation ceremony supported by the Acronis Cyber Foundation Program. For many of the children, the laptops came as a complete surprise, creating genuine excitement, smiles, and emotional moments.
The initiative attracted the attention of both regional media and the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency (BTA), becoming an example of how local organizations, businesses, and international partners can work together in support of children and their communities.
Particularly inspiring throughout the day was the passion and dedication of the coaching team from FC Karia Shabla, whose enthusiasm encouraged the children to participate, learn, and believe in themselves.
